Twelve-year-old Annabel Wood is sure of one thing: magic doesn’t exist.

Then Lottie disappears, and Annabel is forced to reevaluate everything she believes about magic.

Thrown into a world of witchcraft, wicked warlocks, and the fae, Annabel discovers there are more formidable dangers in her life than even the Great War. A sinister force is at work in Little Morven, and Lottie’s disappearance is just the beginning.
