Summer is a great time to visit scenic Richmond, Virginia - except during the start of the American Civil War. After her attempt to save a young woman goes disastrously wrong, Samantha Moon has wound up trapped in 1862 with no way home to her children. The great, great granddaughter of the voodoo priestess who hurled her back in time refuses to undo the spell. 

Samantha Moon is about to discover that going back in time comes with some complications. Like having two memories of returning home from the Civil War. With no explanation for why a second memory appears, Sam is left contemplating the nature of time itself, parallel worlds, and a love that might have been. Along with her own sanity. After all, this second memory feels just as real as the first. Perhaps even more so. Samantha may not know why this alternate memory has appeared, but she does know one thing.... It all begins on a train....
