Rayna Russell Erotic Collections

Did you ever wonder what really turns men on? Me too! After years of publishing erotic short stories, I've consistently received one piece of feedback: listeners want more stories written by men. There’s a yearning to understand what genuinely ignites male desire. For "Erotic Short Stories of Women Written by Men 2026," I asked eleven of my favorite male writers to go wild —and they delivered! Their male perspectives on desire are eye-opening and (frankly) toe-curling.

If you’re looking for the hottest, filthiest collection of erotic short stories of the year that will leave you breathless and satisfied, then keep reading…My name is Rayna Russell, and I’m an author, editor, and writing teacher. I’m also an unapologetically rabid consumer of erotica. Like many of you, I think the short story is the perfect format for the genre. I love to meet new characters, explore a unique setting, and see what dirty magic an author can create in a few minutes. This format also pushes your boundaries.

Curated by celebrated writer and editor Rayna Russell, these are the stories that defined three years of her annual series—thirty-four of them, together in one place for the first time. From the nervous thrill of a first time to the abandon of a room full of strangers, this collection runs the full spectrum of grown-up desire. The writers come from everywhere—men and women of all ages, races, and backgrounds—so no two stories sound alike. One will make you blush. The next will make you forget what time it is.

This is your friendly purveyor of smut, Rayna. I’m so glad to be back with another anthology of the best erotic stories of the year. I received so much generous feedback from last year’s anthology, and I’ve integrated a lot of your thoughts into this new volume.

If we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting before, my name is Rayna. I am a writer and editor with a deep love for erotic fiction. I’ve been gathering the best short stories I could find for this series, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy every one of them. This book has quite a range of stories: from sweet and gentle lovemaking to hardcore sex. Something for everyone. My advice: even if a story doesn’t seem like your thing, give it a chance! You may discover something you didn’t know turns you on.
