Oathbreaker

I took an oath to destroy them all. That not a single goblin would remain on this world. Trapped in the skeleton of an old dark elf ruin, deep beneath the trees and grass. I found her. The festering goddess that unleashed this plague upon the world. The one I would need to destroy, in order to complete my life’s mission. But she too, longs for the end. Despite my efforts to uphold my oath, I am thrust into a new world to start my slaughter once again. But the twisted creatures of my nightmares aren’t here.

The dice were rolled. The pieces set. Agreements made, oaths struck, and the gods sat back to watch the grand experiment unfold. All but one. Betrayal was nothing new to Blath. Betrayed by friends. By lovers. Then by the Elves, who rained boulders down upon the last goblins alive, and those sent to destroy them. But a betrayal of a god against another god? When an oathbreaker walks this new world, others will follow. Friends and foe alike will find themselves thrust into situations far beyond their comprehension.

I swore an oath to destroy them. I failed. Not only did I fail, I am left flailing before the gods as an oathbreaker. Now, the beings I swore to destroy, are my most treasured. My loved ones. My beloved companions and the future mothers to my children. If not for those damn tiephlings... And maybe when I finish with them, I'll take my fight to the very gods themselves.
