Highland

She came to Scotland to mend her heart, not fall for a grumpy Highlander in a kilt. Gaby’s ten-year relationship is over, her confidence is in pieces, and a cat-sitting job in the Scottish Highlands sounds like the ideal escape. A quiet cottage, a scenic loch, and enough distance from her ex to breathe again. Perfect. Apart from the cat. And the village gossip. And Jack McAllan. Jack is gruff, gorgeous and far too reminiscent of Gaby’s favourite fictional Scottish hero. He also has a talent for appearing whenever she is at her most flustered, which is often. As Gaby settles into Lochalshie, she finds herself caught between the life she ran from and a place full of whisky, friendship, chaos and the kind of man she really should not trust with her heart. Highland Fling is the first book in the Highland Books series, a feel-good Scottish romantic comedy perfect for fans of Jenny Colgan, Sophie Kinsella and Jill Mansell.
