The serial killer Gregg Thorton was introduced to you in my short story "Serial Family Man", giving you an insight to the man who spent 44 years murdering over 20 people. In this new story, Gregg Thorton will confess like he never has before.

The blunt and ruthless Cole King is interviewing Michelle Hartmann, a now disgraced lawyer who won her cases through fraud. Michelle began her law career helping the ignored, supporting fairness and moral rightness in the legal system. Until she got a strong desire for power and saw herself above all of the ignored she once pretended to care about. In a harsh and swift motion, Michelle made her switch to become a defence attorney. She wasted no time finding herself a challenging case representing a child killer and paying to prove the innocence of a monster.

From 1988 to 2009, Emily Cannister—kindergarten teacher, community favorite, and secret killer—kidnapped and murdered fifteen children. To the outside world, she was kind and nurturing.
