It had been ten years since the serial killer known as the Honeymoon Homicider had claimed a pair of victims. But that all changed one evening on a beautiful island near Key West. Following the brutal double homicide, local and former Navy SEAL Logan Dodge is recruited to help with the investigation. But the closer Logan gets to discovering the identity of the killer, the higher the stakes mount. And the Honeymoon Homicider decides to alter the MO and target Logan and those closest to him.

On a seemingly normal morning in Key West, Logan Dodge finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. An innocent passerby, the former Navy SEAL witnesses a young man being abducted and is taken at gunpoint as well. Before he knows what’s happening or why, Logan is blindfolded and imprisoned aboard an offshore yacht.

When a man’s body washes ashore in the Lower Keys, Logan Dodge’s initial reaction is to trust reports that it was an accidental drowning. That is until the departed is identified. Logan learns that the corpse that drifted onto the popular beach is a man he once knew—a man who’d once saved his life. Suspecting foul play, Logan flies across the country, searching for relatives of the deceased along with other faces from his past who he feels may hold the keys to unraveling the truth. But the former Navy SEAL runs into trouble at every turn.
