Cyrus Darian Thrillers

Dr. House meets MacGyver, with a deadly diagnosis.

"Entertaining and difficult to put down." — Kirkus Reviews

Cyrus Darian used to be a doctor. Now he lives out of a backpack in the Oregon backcountry, avoiding towns, avoiding people, avoiding questions.

When he saves a stranger’s life deep in the Oregon wilderness using little more than improvisation and nerve, the act pulls him into a remote off-grid commune that seems, at first, like a quiet place to disappear.

But beneath the commune’s calm surface, something isn’t right. Unexplained illnesses. Conflicting stories. A tension no one will acknowledge. As Cyrus begins to connect the clues, it becomes clear the community is hiding secrets someone is willing to protect at any cost.

To stop what’s unfolding, Cyrus must rely on the very abilities he tried to leave behind, and confront the shadow at the center of his past.

The Doctor’s Reckoning launches the Cyrus Darian Thrillers, a gripping blend of medical suspense, rural mystery, and a brilliant but broken doctor forced back into the fight.
