The Nine Circles

Aldric Thorne was the only mage to ever reach the 9th Circle.

A century of mastery. A lifetime at the pinnacle of magic. And it ended with a betrayal — his own apprentice, the student he'd trusted for forty years, drove the blade home.

But that’s not his end. Instead he wakes up as his twelve year old self with all his memories. He has empty pathways, no mana core, and a century of knowledge that no one alive can match. The magic system he mastered across a lifetime? He wrote half of it. The Circles that take mages decades to climb? He knows how to break through each one faster than anyone thought possible. The spells that won't be invented for another fifty years? He remembers every one.

Starting from zero has never looked like this.

At the Academy, he lays foundations in days that took him years the first time. In hidden dungeons, he hunts creatures that would kill students twice his level. In a city full of secrets, he builds alliances and resources that no twelve-year-old should possess. Circle by Circle, he climbs back toward the peak — faster, smarter, and more dangerous than before.

He reached the 9th Circle once. This time, he's going beyond it.
