The Crimson Order

Crown of Fire, Chalice of BloodIn the ash-stained years of the Third Age, when kingdoms crumble and faith is wielded as a weapon, two relics shape the fate of empires: the Crown of Fire, forged in the breath of the God-Kings, and the Chalice of Blood, vessel of sacrifice and eternal covenant. The Crimson Order, sworn to the Codex of Red, marches through a world of heresy and despair. Cloaked in blood-stained robes, their faces hidden beneath shadowed helms, they kneel only to the Cross and to death. Their creed is terror, their prayer is iron, their mercy is silence.Amidst them rises Alfred, knight of the Order, whose path is seared by visions and marked by transformation. He bears scars of battles uncounted, from the burning streets of plague-ridden cities to the shattered gates of Ansel. With each trial he drifts further from the man he was, and closer to the weapon the priests would forge him to be.The discovery of the Chalice of Blood draws Alfred into a web of prophecy and damnation. Its crimson depths promise ascension — or annihilation. To drink is to surrender flesh and soul alike. To refuse is to be cast aside as unworthy. The Order’s High Priest proclaims that the Chalice shall decide the true heir of the Crown of Fire, the one destined to lead the faithful into the wars to come.
