All Who Wander

The year is 1929, and Catherine Christie's world turns upside down when, on her twenty-fifth birthday, she receives a box from her long-dead father containing an explosive secret: that he was a time traveler. After she falls critically ill as a child, she's transported to the future using her family's Time Medallion. It saves her life, but adult Portia can no longer reconcile to the fate that awaits her back home. Watching over her is Michael Bryce, Guardian of the Medallion. It's his job to keep her—and the amulet—safe. And now they're locked in a battle of wills as he attempts to convince her it's time to come home to marry a prince to further her family's interests.

How long can you run away from fate? In the case of Chloe Talbot and Joshua Bryce, the answer is about seventeen years. That's how long it's been since they shared a kiss on the turret at Westlake.
