Thomas Crane was never really one for company. The man always worked best alone. Thomas was a rough sort who preferred the company of his horse and dog more than people. This innate nature of Thomas to stay away from the company of people usually caused him a lot of trouble. Oftentimes, Thomas even believed that he was more than a little cursed. 

“You can hang me now, but you had all better hang Sheriff Plunkett, as well! He's the leader of our gang!” Billy's dying words sent the crowd viewing the hanging into an uproar. He instantly polarized everyone, and chaos erupted. Sheriff Plunkett turned pale, as he heard the words, and everyone seemed to go crazy.

Dolores ran towards the flickering light and smoke. She ran as fast as her exhausted legs could take her. She pushed herself with all the remaining strength and endurance she could muster. The fire burned stronger and stronger until she finally came upon it. When she was right in front of the campfire, Dolores spotted a strange-looking man. The man was roasting an animal over the fire, and he looked quite intimidating. The man looked just as threatening and dangerous as Wellington, but Dolores didn’t think of that now.

Daniel Lawton was a quiet, hardworking man. He took a hard job with the railroad, putting in long, hot hours to lay railway tracks, all in the hopes of making a future for himself and the woman he loved. Against Rebecca’s wishes, Daniel took what little they’d managed to save to a poker game. Not only did he win, but he also got more than he bargained for. His winning streak would not last for long.
