Freedom 3/15 was written by Julian the day following his release from Fayette County Jail in Georgia. He had been incarcerated 11 months and four days due to family issues while being off his medication for mental illness. Pay Day had written a lot of pieces in jail. However, this is the first collection he wrote when he got out. It all was constructed within one day of his release.
