After holding all sorts of jobs through my teenaged years, eventually winding up as a summertime laborer in the steel mills of Gary, Indiana, I made the decision to dare to try to become a professional musician. Having attended the Indiana University School of Music (now known as the Jacobs School of Music) I now realize that I was well prepared for what was to come next.
