Cole and his enslaved coven have saved Scholomance from total destruction and proven their worth. But things don’t get easier from there. Scholomance and all Wicca-kind are still at war with the Elder gods, so to improve their chances of success, the Headmistress of Scholomance decides to hold an ancient, traditional tournament to strengthen their alliances with other dark academies.

On January 1st, 2020, the comet hit, and a good chunk of the people on Earth died or turned into mutants. But some people gained powerful magical abilities. You would think that the fall of humankind would usher in a time of peace and happiness for the survivors, but since powerful people tend to be assholes, life got worse, and these mages enslaved those who couldn’t protect themselves. I have magic too, but not just any magic. I can summon guns, and nothing kills asshole mages better than a bullet through the brain.

Scholomance has been saved…for now. But the war with the elder gods is just beginning. Cole and his coven must meet with the High Wicca Court and then prepare their Academy for the next attack. But the elder gods have underestimated just how much Cole wants to see them all dead, and it is a mistake they will pay dearly for.

And if killing bad guys makes me a villain in the eyes of the heroes, well...I’ll destroy them too.

He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.
