This is not a fairy tale, nor a love story, but bound into the truths of everyday deeds, in a world that doesn't exist today. Once upon a time, near a century younger, lives so fresh, every experience cherished by a thought and a nation on the brink. From the honesty of memory, we live for the moment, because our next might be our last in a war to end all wars. Hear from the lips of those that lived, those that felt, those that dreamed, and those that didn't make it. This is their story, told from a small city called Perth.

Sehera, imprisoned deep underground, smelt the stench of blackened mildew and was unable to tell night from day. All she knew and hoped for was that her daughter's life would be spared. Abducted by Zardus, how could she possibly stop his evil influences over her child? Betrayed by her best friend in that faraway town of Tarrindale, what must she do to find courage to survive even this moment? Hope was all she had left. Hope in Markus, the ancient traveler, but would she survive, or would the cost be too high?
