This is a new edition of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles. It’s the same story. Mostly. Situated between the action of God’s divine providence and human realities, the narration seeks to give witness to the faith and effort of the many persons involved in the project, while exploring the reasons that led to the school’s demise.

Time is at an end. Jericho is a Paladin, a warrior of the ages given the task of balancing the scales of the universe to keep the very fabrics of time and space from tipping. Chronologically, he’s the first of the super-race. And it looks like he’s also going to be the last.
