Do you know what happens when the first (almost) French guest is invited on gendah!? And during a heatwave? A lot of opinions about British food, British weather, uncontrollably sunburnt British people, and our complicated relationship with the Prosecco girlies. Perle was born in the UK but they grew up between France and Switzerland, so wine, biscuits, cheese and other charcuterie boards are her specialty.

This week's guest Odiesia comes from the British Virgin Islands, so technically they are the closest to a British person we've had on gendah!. We'll talk Caribbean heritage, including more exciting Christmases, more aggressive insects, and definitely more seasoning in the food.

(CW: retelling of a racist event around the 43-minute mark)

On this second episode of gendah! I receive my Argentinian friend Cinthia for a conversation about Latin American culture and how the UK sees the continent (spoiler: it's a bit of a mess). As an actor, Cinthia will tell us all about the dodgy auditions they went through, and how they found a strong community both as a queer and latinx person. Don't cry for her and do NOT mention that musical under any circumstances!
