You're not behind. You're early. That's the reframe that changed how I think about comparing myself to creators who've been at this for a decade — and it's tangled up with the other thing that quietly ran my life for years: never letting myself post anything until it felt finished.
In this episode of Unscripted Empire, I get into why "finished" is a feeling that never actually arrives no matter how much work you put in, why comparing yourself to people further down the road is almost always an unfair comparison, and the real story of how my audience found me through the least polished content I ever made — 3D printing documentation, not a strategy.
If you've been sitting on something because it's "not there yet," this one's for you.
New episodes of Unscripted Empire every Monday. Produced by Wolfe Media Group.
