    • What is a neuropsychologist - and how can they help understand my brain?
      Jun 25 2022

The human brain is complex and interesting - but how do we understand how injury or disorder can impact on cognitive function? This introduction explains what a neuropsychologist is, where you might find one in Australia and what to expect at the assessment.

Neuropsychologists provide objective assessment of memory, concentration and various aspects of thinking - to fully understand strengths and weaknesses that people have related to particular conditions.

For referrers, families and clients this is a helpful start to understand cogntive function.
