City Attorney Darren Shulman and City Manager Steve Schoeny welcome Darren’s younger brother, Jeff Shulman, to the conversation. Joining virtually from Washington, Jeff shares memories from growing up with Darren, including some entertaining stories from their childhood, and talks about his career as a college professor and filmmaker.
Jeff also discusses his new documentary, What It Takes, which explores addiction, recovery and the personal stories behind both. The conversation comes at a fitting time, as Jeff is headed to Upper Arlington for a free community screening of the film, hosted in connection with the City’s Recovery Court.
