This week's show is called "With a Little Help from My Friends - Donna Coplon". Tune in and hear Steve continue the countdown to his 500th show by honoring his wife, Donna Coplon, who, more than any other person in his life, is the reason that he is here today. They have been through so much together. Proverbs 12:4 says that “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband." Donna is the greatest blessing in Steve’s life. You will be inspired by Donna’s strength and love for the Lord.
In this episode, we honor Donna and reflect on her role in Steve’s life, his health journey, and the work of the Right Thinking Foundation. We discuss marriage, caregiving, the foundation’s beginnings in business consulting and prison ministry, and family support in that work.
We also talk about Donna’s faith, her daily habits of Bible reading and prayer, and the verses that guide her through hardship. The episode includes a conversation about downsizing our home and adjusting to a new season, as well as care for family, church, and community.
In the second half, we focus on listening and healthy communication. We share ideas about understanding, respect, and being present in marriage, parenting, grandparenting, and mentoring, and we close with the reminder that listening is part of love and strong relationships.
