Brendon and Ronnie are catching up with several topics in sports this week. From the Stanley Cup playoffs starting to all of the transactions happening in the WNBA to the results of WrestleMania, the fellas are running the gamut. And, to commiserate with New York Mets fans, the fellas also remember hard times with their favorites teams in all sports. Along the way, the fellas express a love for jacaranda trees, wonder if Arsenal are collapsing (again), and marvel at George Kittle's ability to drink (and steal) beer. Brendon waxes poetic about the Spring season, recalls how he managed his ass off in a recent Little League game, and has a very hot take about a WNBA star. Ronnie reminds us all that Rupert Murdoch once owned the Dodgers, discovers something really cool about the outfield of Oracle Park, and makes a deep callback to the second ever episode of the podcast.

Brendon and Ronnie are gearing up for another WrestleMania weekend! They go down the card for each night and get pumped for each match. Before that, they warm up by talking through their feelings as the NBA and NHL each transition into their playoffs. Along the way, the fellas start with a completely de-railed tangent, indulge in the "Doom & Gloom" fandom that surrounds the Lakers, and explain the iconic Caddyshack scene between Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. Brendon briefly invites RFK Jr. onto the pod, points out that recent playoff pushes for teams in blue & orange haven't ended well, and helps explain what an Unsanctioned Match is. Ronnie recalls a classic Los Angeles bus stop ad, gets really tense during the NHL's playoff overtime, and thinks the women's division in WWE is creatively lost.

  • 111 - Absurd & Outstanding
    Apr 10 2026

Brendon and Ronnie find the absurd and outstanding in several topics from drama in the MLB already to Mom's spaghetti. The fellas figure out on-air the last time they played D&D, put some respect on the Ohio State Marching Band, and marvel at how Jo Adell saved an Angels win THREE TIMES! Brendon was ejected from a Little League Baseball game because of a bat, invites Ronnie to his cabin in the mountains to play Nintendo Wii, and is having a rough time with baseball at the moment. Ronnie went to a live wrestling show with burlesque between the matches, hates the final two minutes of basketball games, and asks Brendon to delve into the curious case of Giants manager Tony Vitello.
