Consistency has not been my strong suit lately with my busy life, but here we are on episode 11 and I'm just continuing to give myself grace while I figure out thing called life. From my 9-5, to new collaborations and content creation, a 50/50 schedule with the kids, football and sports, and the random date I had, life is wild and full of surprises.

In this episode I talk about how busy life has been. new experiences, and the unexpected date that I went that just reminded me even more of why I choose to stay single. My standards are high and my expectations are real low at this point, but the lesson here is that it's really teaching me how much I love my peace and this little life I'm creating....without a man.

It feels good to be back and I'm so happy that we've made it to episode 10! Today's episode is really catching you all up on life the past two weeks, but I also do a deep dive into how much my life has changed over the past year. One year ago, was when we decided marriage was no longer for us and it started a whole new journey for me.

I also tell you about an old situationship that came back into the picture, and I made the terrible decision of not leaving the past in the past. I had to learn the hard way, but the lesson was what I needed. I got the closure that I needed, and I used the block button on literally everything. To all the girlies, please learn from me, and don't allow the past to come back into your present or future life.

Michael and I get a lot of "you guys get along so well. why don't you just get back together?" And yes, we get along very well, but after 11 years we knew that we weren't a good fit for one another.

This episode dives a little deeper into why we in fact are not good together. I talk about how I used to think that I was "too hard to love," but I realized that this was far from the truth. The feeling of being "too hard to love," just actually comes down to changing your mindset around it and realizing that maybe you're just choosing the wrong people to love you.
