This week in our At The Table series, we continued through Luke 5 by asking: how does Jesus actually make us one?

Looking again at Levi's table, we saw that unity doesn't come from everyone agreeing—it comes from moving closer. At the table, we become one through our shared humanity, when we stop reducing people to labels and start seeing them by name, the way Jesus saw Levi. We become one through our shared Savior, when we admit we all need the same doctor instead of comparing diagnoses. And we become one through our shared mission, as our differences give way to the same calling: bringing people who feel distant into proximity with Jesus.
