  • Watching Your Life Like a Movie: The Practice of Noting & Tracking
    Jun 11 2026

This week, Sally and I are chatting about one of our favorite tools that has helped us and our clients become more aware, more connected, and find more joy in everyday life.

    Noting and Tracking

Or as we like to call it…

Watching your life like a movie.

Have you ever found yourself stress eating the chips, snapping at your kids, shutting down, procrastinating, or repeating a pattern you’ve promised yourself you’d stop… and then later thought,

“Wait… why did I do that?”

    We’ve both been there.

In this episode, we’re talking about how to slow down long enough to notice what’s actually going on beneath our reactions instead of just moving through life on autopilot.

    We chat about:

    • What noting and tracking actually is.
•How emotions are energy in motion
    • Why awareness is the first step to rewiring old patterns
    • How to create space between who you are and what you’re experiencing
    • The simple question that can change everything: “What do I need right now?”
    • How noticing joy is just as important as noticing stress.

This conversation feels like sitting down with friends and having one of those talks where you’re nodding your head thinking,

    “Oh my gosh… me too.”

So many of us are carrying the same struggles, asking the same questions, and wondering why we keep repeating the same patterns.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or like you’re just moving through the motions of life, this episode will give you a simple place to start reconnecting with yourself.

Grab a notebook, find a cozy spot, and come hang out with us as we talk about meeting ourselves with a little more awareness, compassion, and love.

  • The Women You Never Lost: A conversation about motherhood, identity, nervous system healing, and coming home to yourself.
    Jun 3 2026

    The Women you never lost.

A conversation about motherhood, identity, nervous system healing, and coming home to yourself.

    What if you're not lost?

What if the woman you've been searching for is still there beneath the expectations, responsibilities, pressure, and noise?

In this first episode of our Summer Series, I sit down with my friend and soul sister Sally for a conversation about motherhood, identity, nervous system healing, self-care, and the journey of remembering who you are underneath all the roles you carry.

Together, we chat about what happens when we spend years taking care of everyone else, chasing happiness outside of ourselves, and slowly disconnecting from the parts of us that once felt alive, playful, creative, and free.

    We talk about:

    • Why so many women feel disconnected from themselves
    • The pressure to "be her" and why that may be keeping us stuck
    • Nervous system regulation and building capacity for both joy and hard moments
    • The importance of play, presence, and reconnecting with your inner child
    • Learning to ask yourself, "What do I actually need?"
    • Why coming home to yourself is a gift not only to you, but to everyone around you

This conversation isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering the woman you never lost.

  • Root & Rise: A Return to Self From Body Control to Embodied Living
    Apr 28 2026

In this deeply honest and unfiltered episode, Cori Taylor shares her personal journey from fitness and bodybuilding culture, body control, and identity loss… into a slower, more embodied return to self.

What begins as a story of striving, perfection, and control unfolds into a much deeper truth:

Healing was never about fixing the body.

It was about remembering the self.

Through motherhood, nervous system healing, inner child work, and lived experience, this episode explores what it really means to stop performing life and start being in it again.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • The pressure to “earn worth” through body control and achievement

    • The shift from performance-based living into embodimenT.

    • Nervous system regulation as capacity (not perfection)

    • Why burnout, looping, and identity crisis are often invitations to go deeper

    • Inner child healing and unmet emotional needs

    • The difference between “becoming someone new” vs. remembering who you are

    • The beginning of Cori’s shift into her new work: Root & Rise

    Core Message:

    You are not broken.

    You are not behind.

You are not meant to keep becoming someone else.

    You are meant to remember.

To root into what’s been buried.

And rise into what has always been there.

    Guided Practice Included:

This episode ends with a grounding somatic reflection to help you reconnect to your body and ask:

    • Where am I rushing past myself?
    • What would it feel like to stay here instead of escape?
    • Can I let this moment be enough?

    Closing Thought:

This is not a program of becoming.

It is a return to being.

A remembering of who you’ve always been beneath survival, expectation, and noise.

  • From Survival Mode to Feeling Alive Again What 41 Years of Life Taught Me
    Apr 7 2026

Today’s episode is a deeply personal one.

I’m sharing reflections from my 41st birthday…what it means to truly feel life again, to move out of survival mode, and to let yourself be seen, celebrated, and loved.

For a long time, I didn’t feel worthy of being celebrated. I pushed it away. I blocked it. I told myself I didn’t need anything… while secretly craving to feel seen.

But over the years, I’ve been learning how to receive. How to soften. How to let life touch me again.

    This episode is about:

    • coming back into your body
    • finding beauty in the everyday
    • allowing yourself to feel even when it’s hard
    • and remembering… life is a gift

I also share a simple, powerful practice you can start today to help you step out of autopilot and back into presence.

    What We Talk About:

    • My journey with birthdays, worthiness, and receiving love
    • How survival mode disconnects us from life
    • The beauty of slowing down and noticing
    • Letting go of perfection and embracing becoming
    • Reconnecting with your authentic, creative self
    • Why feeling is the gateway to healing and joy

    Somatic Practice:

    The Art of Noticing

A simple daily practice to help you:

    • regulate your nervous system
    • reconnect to your body
    • and start feeling life again

    ✨ Pause

    ✨ Breathe

    ✨ Notice one beautiful thing

    ✨ Let yourself receive it

    Ask yourself:

    Jan 21 2026

As we step into 2026, this episode is an invitation to slow down, take inventory, and reconnect with who you’re being, not just what you’re doing.

In this honest, real-life conversation, I reflect on time, nervous system regulation, identity, and the power of small, intentional steps. Together, we explore how overcomplicating goals keeps us stuck, why presence matters more than perfection, and how to begin embodying the life you say you want without force or shame.

This episode is for anyone who feels tired, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode and is ready to move toward more presence, energy, and aliveness.

    In this episode, we explore:

•Why time feels both fast and slow and how presence changes everything

•How to take an honest audit of your life

•What nervous system regulation actually means

•Why small steps matter more than big plans

•How morning intention shapes your entire day

  • Back-to-School & Motherhood: The Beauty and Pain of Letting Go. Growing and Expanding Through Motherhood
    Jan 17 2026

Another replay of one my most favorite episodes.

In this raw and unfiltered episode of Watch Sunsets with Me, I dive into the tender emotions of sending my kids back to school especially my daughter's last "first day" as a high school senior.

With tears, laughter, and pauses for real-life motherhood moments I open up about what it feels like to hold on, let go, and witness your children stepping into who they're becoming.

I explore the bittersweet ache of motherhood, the paradox of joy and grief that comes as our kids grow and how we, as moms, are called to expand, rediscover, and become alongside them.

This episode is for every mom navigating transitions: whether you're sending littles to preschool, teenagers to high school, or preparing to watch them spread their wings into adulthood. You'll be reminded that while motherhood can sting, it's also the most breathtaking, sacred gift.

We're in this together and motherhood, though messy, raw, and heart-wrenching, is the most magical journey of all.

Share the love: If you know another mama walking through this season, share this episode with her. We need each other in this journey.

  • Getting Older Doesn’t Have to Feel Defeating: What if it could instead be a journey of strength, vitality, movement, breath, and deep self-discovery?
    Jan 13 2026

Sharing some of my favorite and most listened to episodes again.

If you’ve heard it before, maybe listen again you might learn something new this time. And if it’s your first time… I can’t wait do you to listen

What if getting older didn't mean aches, pains, and limitations? What if it could instead be a journey of strength, vitality, movement, breath, and deep self-discovery?

On this week's episode of Watch Sunsets with Me. I share how I've rewritten my own story of aging, from depletion and pain to feeling more alive at 40 than I ever did in my 20s.

The story you tell yourself about aging becomes the story your body lives. If you tell yourself "getting older sucks," your body believes it. But when we nourish ourselves through movement, breathwork, food, and intentional care, aging can be beautiful, energizing, and full of life.

Movement builds strength and longevity. BreathWork clears stagnant energy and reconnects you to your body.

Nourishing food fuels your energy, vitality, and joy. And understanding your nervous system helps you show up fully alive, instead of stuck in survival mode.

Getting older doesn't have to be defeating. It's an invitation to rise into your strongest, most vibrant self, to move freely, and to fully enjoy life with your kids, your grandkids, and those you love.

If you're ready to feel good in your body, embrace aging as a journey of aliveness, and start rewriting your story, this episode is for you.

  • Lost in Perfectionism: Reclaiming Your Voice & Creativity How to Find Yourself Again
    Jan 7 2026

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how easy it is to drift away from the essence of who we are especially in a world full of algorithms, noise, and “shoulds.”

I realized how even something as helpful as AI can quietly start to drain our creativity and authenticity if we’re not careful.

I’m not anti-AI, it’s about awareness and alignment. Because AI can never replace your soul’s expression, or the divine creativity that flows through you.

This week’s episode of Watch Sunsets with Me is one of the most honest conversations I’ve had about creativity, AI, control, and coming back home to your essence.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • How perfectionism and control disconnect us from authenticity

    • Why true creativity is a direct connection to God, the ultimate Creator

    • How to recognize when something is draining vs. nourishing your soul

    • The importance of returning to your roots, your body, and your essence

•Building safety in your nervous system to move forward, even when it feels scary

Whether you’re a mom, a creator, or a woman on a journey of rediscovering herself this conversation will meet you right where you are and invite you back into the flow of who God made you to be.

    Takeaways:

1.Take inventory: What’s nourishing you and what’s depleting you?

2.Where is God calling you to step out in faith, even if it feels scary?

3.Are you creating and living from your essence… or from expectation?

This episode is a reminder that you are not meant to live in a box. You are meant to feel, express, create, move, and live fully alive.

    You are loved. You matter.

You are worthy of feeling good in your body, your creativity, and your life again.
