      Chanda joined the North Carolina National Guard at 19 years of age and gained experience serving and growing in discipline as she served stateside as well as in Bagdad in Operation Iraqi Freedom, from 2009 to 2010. Chanda is a wife and a mother of four children in North Carolina.
