  • I Love You But I Can't Keep Abandoning Myself: When Love, Forgiveness, and Wisdom Require Different Access
    21 Oct 2026

You can love somebody deeply and still need different access.

That does not make you cold. It does not make you bitter. And it does not mean you failed at forgiveness.

In Season 2, Episode 6 of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what happens when love, forgiveness, wisdom, and boundaries all have to sit at the same table.

Sometimes your heart remembers the good while wisdom keeps reminding you what you tolerated.

Sometimes you miss the person and still know the relationship cannot go back to what it was.

Sometimes forgiveness frees your heart, but wisdom still changes the door.

This episode is about learning the difference between loving someone and abandoning yourself to keep the relationship intact.

We’ll talk about boundaries, access, family, friendship, romantic relationships, church relationships, and what it looks like to love people without continuing to participate in patterns that keep hurting you.

    Because:

Forgiveness does not automatically restore the same access.

And sometimes the question is no longer, “Do I love them?”

    The better question is:

What does loving them wisely look like now?

  • When Faith Meets Fire: Trusting God Beyond the Crisis | Wesley Farnsworth
    16 Oct 2026

When Faith Meets Fire | Featuring Wesley Farnsworth

What happens when life tests the very faith you say you have?

In the premiere episode of Vision & Ink: Between the Lines, host Genella Harper welcomes Christian author, U.S. Air Force veteran, and UNMASKED podcast host Wesley Farnsworth for a real, heartfelt conversation about trusting God when life doesn't go according to plan.

Together, they explore what it means to move beyond simply believing in God to developing a genuine, personal relationship with Him.

We talk about faith through difficult seasons, learning to surrender what we cannot control, and remembering that God's promise never to leave us or forsake us still stands—even when life gets uncomfortable.

Because a relationship with God shouldn't begin and end when we need something from Him.

    In This Conversation:

    • The difference between believing God exists and actually trusting Him.

    • Why faith must extend beyond difficult circumstances.

    • Learning to recognize God's presence in every season.

    • Moving from religious routine into genuine relationship.

    • Understanding that God is faithful even when life is uncertain.

  • The Performance Is Over: When Pretending Becomes A Pattern and Pattern Starts Shaping Your Character
    14 Oct 2026

Have you ever had somebody say all the right things... and still keep doing the same thing?

That is the tension in this episode.

In Season 2, Episode 5 of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what happens when pretending becomes a pattern — and the pattern starts shaping character.

Performance does not only happen in public.

Sometimes it happens in private conversations.

    In apologies.

    In relationships.

In the way somebody manages your perception of them.

And sometimes, if we are willing to turn the mirror around, it happens in us too.

This episode gets into the difference between words and fruit, apology and repentance, image management and real transformation.

    Because:

A convincing conversation is not the same thing as a changed pattern.

And at some point, we have to stop letting words outvote what keeps happening.

  • Stop Making Your Hurt Easier to Swallow
    7 Oct 2026

Have you ever told someone they hurt you... and somehow ended up making them feel better?

In this episode of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what happens when you keep minimizing your pain just to make the person who caused it more comfortable.

You can forgive and still tell the truth.

You can love someone and still set a boundary.

You can be gracious and still say, “That hurt me.”

We’re getting into the difference between intent and impact, why forgiveness does not require you to rewrite history, and how fear of conflict can keep you watering down what actually happened.

This episode is practical, direct, and rooted in truth: stop protecting other people from accountability at the expense of your own healing.

Grab your Vision & Ink: It Is Written — A Journal for Healing & Reflection and write down what hits you. The journal link and the link to No. A Complete Sentence — Setting Boundaries Through the Power of God’s Word are in the show notes.

  • I Am Anointed For This
    30 Sep 2026

    I’m Anointed for This
When What You Survived Becomes Part of What You Carry

Sometimes the very thing you survived becomes part of what gives weight to your voice.

In this episode of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what happens when pain, pressure, failure, wilderness, and survival are no longer just part of your past — they become part of the wisdom, compassion, discernment, and strength you carry forward.

This is not about pretending every painful thing happened for a reason or saying God caused the hurt just so you could have a testimony. Some things were simply wrong. Some things were painful. Some things should never have happened.

But God is still able to redeem what happened.

We’ll look at people like Moses, Joseph, Peter, Paul, Esther, Isaiah, and David and talk about how God can use what you have lived through without requiring you to stay trapped in it.

Because there is a difference between speaking from an open wound and speaking from a scar.

And sometimes you know you are anointed for it because when you open your mouth, you are not only speaking from what you studied.

You are speaking from what you survived.

Use these for your Vision & Ink journal study:

    • 2 Corinthians 1:3–4
    • Romans 5:3–5
    • Romans 8:28
    • Genesis 50:20
    • Exodus 3:7–12

  • You Don't Have To React To Everything
    23 Sep 2026

In Season 2, Episode 2 of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what real growth looks like when people test your patience, your peace, and your progress.

“You Don’t Have to React to Everything” explores how to handle offense, dishonesty, disrespect, and differences of opinion without allowing someone else’s behavior to control your response. Sometimes wisdom means speaking up. Sometimes it means setting a boundary. And sometimes it means realizing that every argument does not deserve your attendance.

Through Scripture, practical examples, and honest conversation, this episode will help you slow down, think clearly, and choose a response you can live with tomorrow.

Because growth is not just what you accomplish. Sometimes growth is learning how to protect your peace without losing your character.

  • You Grew Something-Now What
    16 Sep 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

You planted in tears. You believed when it made no sense. And then — it came up. The harvest showed up. God came through.

So you celebrated. You exhaled. But here’s the question nobody asks at the celebration: now what?

In the Season 2 opener, Genella Harper kicks off a season built entirely around one truth — harvest was never the finish line, it’s the starting line for what’s next. Rooted in Genesis 8:22, Luke 16:10, and Romans 8:28, this episode challenges you to stop sitting on what God already grew in you and start stewarding it forward — because the field was never meant to sit empty.

This is Season 2. We’re not repeating last season. We’re increasing beyond it.
