  • Romans 5–8 — An Introduction: No Condemnation
    2 Nov 2026

This season walks from peace, through a war, to a love nothing can sever. Which of those three do you think the people around you are hungriest to hear about, and why? Leave it in the comments — I read them, and I answer.

Most of us are carrying a courtroom. Not the memory of one — a working courtroom, in session, with a voice in it that keeps the record, reads the charges back on the nights you cannot sleep, produces the old evidence at inconvenient moments, and never quite closes the case. You know the voice. You may have had it longer than you have had most of your friends.

Season four is the four chapters of the Bible that answer that courtroom — not by pretending the charges away, but by a sentence already served and a Judge who turns out to be a Father. This first episode sets the road: the letter nobody had to write, where we are standing when we walk into chapter five, the three threads running through all four chapters, and the word that hangs over everything. It also makes a promise — that we will come back in eighteen episodes and find out whether that voice still has the same authority.

  • Season 4 Teaser - Romans: No Condemnation
    28 Oct 2026

Here is a question most people never say out loud, including people who have sat in church their whole lives: am I actually all right? Not whether you believe the right things, not whether you are doing enough — the older question underneath both of those. When everything is finally known about you, what is the verdict?

Paul spends four chapters answering it, and the answer is two words long.

Season four of Until You Know walks verse by verse through Romans 5-8: peace with God and what it cost to buy, a death you have already died, a war inside a man who cannot win it, and a verdict nothing in all creation can overturn. Four chapters, a few verses at a time — and unlike any season before it, they are one argument from first line to last.

New episodes begin November 2nd, one each weekday.

  • James — A Living Faith (The Whole Letter)
    26 Oct 2026

The last episode of the season. No new passage — we've read them all. Instead, the whole road at once, and the three threads James wove from his first line to his last.

Endurance, which opens with consider it pure joy and lands, four chapters later, on a farmer waiting for rain. Wisdom, which begins with the gentlest sentence in the letter — ask God, who gives generously and without finding fault — and turns out never to be about how much you know. And works, the thread the book is famous for and the one most often misheard: James never pitted faith against works; he asked one question in eight different rooms — is the thing you are holding alive? Endurance is faith under weight. Wisdom is faith with its eyes open. Works are faith with hands. And the letter simply stops, with no benediction, mid-stride: a door left open, with somebody out past it.
