This episode I’m joined by Violet May - singer, South London creative, and care provider in services, for a very honest, reflective, and real conversation.

Violet shares her recovery from drugs and alcohol. I share my journey with an eating disorder.

It was very interesting to explore the similarities and the deeper root beneath both: the mind’s urge to escape the Now.

Addiction isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it’s substances. Sometimes it’s control. Sometimes it’s distraction. But at its core, it’s the same wound - the same reaching.

I truly believe everyone will see themselves in some part of it.

Real healing is done alone. It's done internally. It's ugly. But i wanted to share this with you as i'm moving through transitions and feeling the rawness of life... you don't feel so alone on your journey. To give yourself permission to lean into what you need. And remember there is deeper meaning to your pain/healing. As you heal yourself, you heal the collective. So thank you. I love you.

Could have talked for years with Edwige. This conversations a special one that every one of us can resonate with to some degree. What we all share in common, is we all have a body. And when we tune into what our bodies are trying to tell us, we can work with it, rather than against it, to truly heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I loved this conversation because I resonate so much with her journey and feel so blessed to connect with her and share our stories. Thats truly why i do this.. cos sharing our truth is what allows others to not feel so alone, to inspire, and spark action within us that brings healing, growth and transformation into our lives.

i was just on a walk and i was contemplating how i really do have a beautiful life. And then i contemplated deeper. How it really is ALL perspective. How 'spirituality' might not be what you think it is. At the very least, i hope this is a gentle reminder you can get through whatever you're going through. Loooove

Ft DJ SNUFF - @djsnuffone_

I speak to DJ, herbalist and student of sacred knowledge and wisdom, Snuff. He is a wizard at holding space for people to heal and enjoy life through music and dance when he's spinning tunes. But for those that know Snuff personally, he is devoted to a pure, authentic life of happiness and longevity and i've always found him to be such an interesting person. To rack his mind and listen to some of his learnings and studies is truly a blessing. We scratched the surface of his wisdom and knowledge, but learned some deeply transformative things. Seeds have been planted for sure. Knowledge is power and so getting a deeper inner-standing at what this all is, is actual gold!!!! Come on this journey, and by the end of it I hope you feel more grounded, lighter, inspired and connected to all the blessings coming your way.
