  • Faith, Hope, Love, - Faith Rewards
    4 Oct 2026

In this message from the Faith, Hope, Love series, Pastor Tyler Lynde leads us through Hebrews 11:32–12:2 and reminds us that faith’s reward is not merely victory, breakthrough, or relief from suffering. Faith’s ultimate reward is Jesus himself.

Hebrews 11 gives us a sweeping picture of people God used in powerful ways, but Tyler points out that these men and women were not flawless heroes. Gideon was hiding when God called him a mighty man of valor. Barak needed Deborah’s courage. Samson was strong in body but weak in character. Jephthah carried a painful past. David sinned deeply but became known for repentance. Samuel had to learn how to hear the voice of God. The prophets kept calling God’s people back to him again and again. Through them, we see that faith in God produces unlikely heroes.

Tyler also shows how faith produces powerful results. Kingdoms were conquered, justice was enforced, promises were received, lions’ mouths were shut, fire lost its power, and weakness was turned into strength. Yet Hebrews refuses to give us a shallow view of faith. Some who trusted God were tortured, mocked, chained, imprisoned, impoverished, and killed. Their suffering was not proof that their faith had failed. Instead, God says the world was not worthy of them.

Drawing from Romans 8, Tyler reminds us that tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, danger, and even death cannot separate believers from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Faith does not always remove trouble, but faith gives strength to endure trouble because God is with his people.

Then Hebrews turns the mirror toward us: “Therefore…” It is our turn to run the race. Tyler calls us to lay aside both obvious sin and every weight that keeps us from running freely. The Christian life is not a sprint; it is a marathon of endurance marked by repentance, faith, grace, and the help of the Holy Spirit.

Most importantly, we are called to look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith. Jesus began the work, Jesus sustains the work, and Jesus will bring it to completion. He endured the cross for the joy set before him, rose victorious, and is seated at the right hand of God. For everyone who feels weary, stuck, or burdened, this message is a call to keep running with your eyes fixed on Christ. Faith’s reward is Jesus.

  • Faith, Hope, Love, - Faith That commits to God
    27 Sep 2026

Walls don’t fall because we feel inspired. They fall when we trust God enough to obey him. In this message from the Faith, Hope, Love series, Pastor Tyler Lynde explores what it means to have a faith that commits to God—not merely a faith that agrees with truth, but one that moves, obeys, and follows through when God speaks.

Beginning with Israel on the edge of the promised land, Tyler points us to Joshua hearing the word of the Lord: “Arise, go over this Jordan.” God did not choose the easiest moment for Israel to cross. He chose the season when the Jordan was overflowing, and he called the priests to step into the moving water while carrying the Ark of the Covenant, the sign of his presence. That moment reveals a pattern of faith: God speaks, his people trust, and obedience comes before the miracle is fully seen.

From there, Tyler leads us into Jericho and to one of the most surprising people named in Hebrews 11: Rahab. She was a Gentile outsider with a painful reputation, yet she responded to what she had heard about the Lord. Her faith moved from hearing what God had done to confessing who God is: “The Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.” Rahab risked her life to welcome the spies, aligned herself with the people of God, and pleaded not only for herself but for the salvation of her family.

Her scarlet cord becomes a powerful picture of redemption. Tyler connects Rahab’s rescue to the broader scarlet thread running through Scripture—from the Passover blood in Egypt to the blood of Jesus Christ, the true covering for sin and the only hope that can rewrite a person’s identity. Rahab’s story reminds us that faith is not limited by background, reputation, fear, or failure. God is able to bring outsiders in, preserve households, and make promises stand when everything else is shaking.

Tyler also reflects on Joshua’s encounter with the commander of the Lord’s army and God’s unusual battle plan for Jericho. Marching, waiting, silence, obedience, and shouting all became acts of trust. The message returns again and again to a simple but life-shaping truth: God is always faithful to perform his word.

If you are facing an overflowing river, a fortified wall, or carrying concern for people you love, this message invites you to commit your faith fully to the God who goes before you.

  • Faith Hope Love - Moses: The Persevering Intercessor
    27 Sep 2026

In this message from the Faith, Hope, Love series, Pastor Ebenezer Asiamah walks through Hebrews 11:23–29 and traces the life of Moses as “The Persevering Intercessor.” Moses’ story begins in a place of danger: a baby boy born under Pharaoh’s death sentence, hidden by parents who refused to bow to fear, and placed in a basket on the Nile by a mother whose faith entrusted him to God. What Pharaoh meant for destruction, God used for preservation, even arranging for Moses’ own mother to nurse him while being paid from Pharaoh’s house.

Ebenezer Asiamah highlights the generational faith that shaped Moses, from Amram and Jochebed to the wider promises given to Abraham. Moses was raised with the privileges of Egypt, educated in its wisdom, and positioned for comfort, yet when he came of age he chose to identify with the people of God. Hebrews tells us that he considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking to the reward.

The message follows Moses into Midian, where forty years in the wilderness became preparation rather than wasted time. At the burning bush, God revealed Himself as “I AM,” called Moses back to Egypt, and addressed the fears, wounds, and excuses that had settled in Moses’ heart. For anyone who feels delayed, disqualified, discouraged, or spiritually numb because of failure or painful words, Moses’ life declares that it is never too late with God.

Pastor Ebenezer also leads us through Moses’ confrontation with Pharaoh, the plagues, and the decisive moment of Passover. The blood of the lamb on the doorposts spared Israel from judgment and released them from bondage, pointing forward to Jesus Christ, the true Passover Lamb, whose blood frees us from sin and brings us into right relationship with God. The law given through Moses was good, but it ultimately points us to Christ, who fulfilled the law and brings grace and truth.

The message closes with key lessons from Moses’ life: pursuing God’s presence as a friend of God, standing in the gap as an intercessor, remaining faithful as a servant, investing in the next generation through Joshua, and enduring trials that refine faith like gold. Through suffering, delay, and pressure, God forms a faith that trusts, works, and endures until Christ is reflected in us.
