      The Democrats Don’t Know How to Fight?

      How do we know if Democrats actually want to win in the midterms? I don’t see it. I don’t see any leadership from the Democrats. The Republicans are now running a mass deportation program using the Customs and Border Patrol and ICE. Both of those organizations are running all over the country and without any regards for rights that are guaranteed in the constitution, They are disappearing immigrants, and citizens. You could be an American citizen, driving home from work and they can just pull your car over, and demand that you prove that you are an American citizen. If you refuse, they can bust your windows, drag you out of your car, and pepper spray you and your passengers. You will most definitely have a gun pointed at you for kicks and giggles. Worst case scenario, you can be detained for any amount of time they decide is right for the situation, or you can disappear. You also could be executed. ICE is openly killing people in the streets and in their detention centers. We often see Democrats from congress trying to flex their oversight duties. They will create a quick video of being turned away from a detention center, so we have yet to address the horrible conditions in the detention centers. They are operating with no oversight. I understand that the Republicans hold immense power in congress, but they don’t hold all the power. Americans have yet to see any real fight from the Democrats and that’s why we could still lose everything in the Midterms.

      I don’t know what to call what we are seeing. We are seeing poorly trained ICE agents, and extremely violent Customs And Border Patrol federal agents, being allowed or maybe ordered to violate as many constitutional rights as possible when interacting with the public in Minnesota. It seems like their mission has been upgraded to some type of Executive Branch Enforcement agency that’s fully immune from any types of laws or restraints. They are allowed to stop whoever they want to stop and ask you for your identification, to prove to them that you are a citizen or you are in some way permitted to be in this country. As a citizen of the United States, we did not have to prove our citizenship to anyone, unless there was probable cause. We did not have to present identification to any officer on any level that decided to check our identification. We all treated each other for the most part as just another American.

      We have a constitution?

      Once upon a time before Barack Obama was elected to be the 44th president of the United States everyone seemed to agree that America was a country of laws and those laws all were deemed to be legitimate and enforceable because they were interpreted to be in alignment with our Constitution. Ultimately the Constitution is the law of the land. If any American citizen doesn’t like a law on the federal or state level, they have the ability to take that law all the way up to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court justices get to judge whether the law is constitutional or unconstitutional. Does that law align with the Constitution? That’s been the bedrock of our judicial system for as long as I can remember. That all seemed to change after Obama was elected. Once a Black man was elected to the highest office in the land, and completed two very successful terms everything changed. The constitution was no longer good enough for a distinct group of Americans, and now we are up against their idea of a revolution.
