Some people seem to have everything fall into their laps easily. Others seem to have to work hard at every step in life to get ahead. Then are those who God blesses when they put their all into their work for Him.

On today's program, we will meet a professional fisherman who has worked hard his whole life and God has brought him through many different paths that were all very interesting. Of all the things that he experienced in life, there were two things that remained consistent… Bass fishing and God.

Having spent countless days on the mountains across North America, our host has seen the value of getting away from the normal day in and day out of life to grow in a closer relationship with God.

On today's program, Dean will spend some time with two men that have been called to lead a ministry to build stronger Christian men, not only in the mountains, but to that walk with Jesus that changes their life and the lives of those around them.

We live in the greatest country in the world, and we have freedom like nowhere else on earth. God has blessed this nation more than any other nation and people have flocked by the millions to get onto our soils. Our forefathers fought and died to retain the amazing rights that God so graciously gave us 250 years ago. All that being said, far too many people fail to appreciate these freedoms enough to share in the blessings of helping to make choices that we have to make each year.

Today's guest is one that has served our state and our nation for over a dozen years… not in the military but in our government. He will share first his love of hunting and the outdoors, but then about his freedom to gather to worship. He will also share about a disastrous day in the outdoors.
