In this episode of Throttlecast, Dave and Grant visit Adam at Privé Drivers Club, a members-only track day experience at Road Atlanta where just 50 vetted drivers get the run of the circuit with only 8-9 cars on track at a time. Adam walks them through the air-conditioned clubhouse, full-day catering, and laid-back schedule before hitting the paddock, where Kingpin Racing's 12-person crew tends a jaw-dropping lineup of Porsche GT3s and Cup cars, Ferraris, Lambos, a 900-horsepower built Porsche, and the showstopper of the day: a full-blown NASCAR stock car that owner Danny drove in himself. After hearing how Privé has grown since 2018 into a sold-out, waitlisted club with expansion plans to VIR, Barber, and Sebring, Dave and Grant strap into the NASCAR for hot laps, coming back grinning about brutal braking forces and neck-snapping cornering grip before wrapping up the day with the crew.
