  • Truth — Where Can I Find It? Part 2 | Does the Bible Stand Up to Investigation?
    26 Oct 2026

🔎 Can the Bible’s claim to be the Word of God actually stand up to investigation?

In Part 1 of Truth — Where Can I Find It?, we explored the growing difficulty of knowing what is true in a world filled with competing voices, opinions, algorithms, experts and conflicting claims.

We ended with an extraordinary statement:

📖 The Bible claims to be the revealed Word of God.

But should anyone simply accept that because the Bible says so?

In Part 2, we ask the harder question:

👉 Does the Bible’s claim stand up to scrutiny?

We examine some of the major areas of evidence that make the Bible unique among ancient writings and religious texts.

🔍 In this episode we look at:

    • 📜 Manuscript evidence — Can we know with confidence what the biblical writers originally wrote?
    • 🏺 Archaeology — Do people, places and events described in Scripture fit what we know from history?
    • 🔮 Fulfilled prophecy — Does the Bible demonstrate knowledge of events before they happened?
    • 📚 The remarkable unity of Scripture — How can books written across centuries tell one coherent story of creation, fall, redemption and restoration?
    • ✝️ The historical claims surrounding Jesus Christ — His life, crucifixion, burial and resurrection.
    • 🌅 The resurrection — Why Christianity ultimately stands or falls on a real event in history.

The Christian faith does not ask us simply to believe because something feels comforting.

It makes claims about real people, real places and real events.

    Paul even wrote:

📜 “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:14

    That is a remarkable statement.

    Christianity invites investigation.

But the evidence is not the end of the journey.

Jesus did not merely claim to know the truth.

    He said:

✝️ “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” — John 14:6

So the final question becomes deeply personal:

❓ If the evidence points to the Bible being trustworthy, and if Jesus really is who He claimed to be, what will I do with that truth?

🎙️ Join us as we continue the search for something every generation needs:

    Truth we can actually trust.

  • Truth - Where can I find it? Part #1
    5 Oct 2026

🔎 Where can we find truth in a world overflowing with competing voices, opinions and claims?

We live in an age with more information available to us than any generation in history — 24-hour news, social media, experts, influencers, search engines and now artificial intelligence. Yet despite all this information, many people are asking the same question:

❓ Who can I actually trust?

In this episode of This Day, three Bible teachers explore one of the most important questions any of us can ask:

👉 What is truth — and where can it be found?

We examine the difference between information and truth, whether objective truth really exists, and why something does not become true simply because we sincerely believe it.

🌍 We also look at some of the places modern society commonly looks for truth:

    • 🧠 Ourselves
    • ❤️ Our feelings
    • 👥 Majority opinion
    • 🎓 Experts
    • 📱 Media and social consensus

Each may provide information or insight — but can any of them provide an ultimate and unchanging foundation for truth?

⚖️ Truth matters in everyday life. We depend upon it in medicine, relationships, justice, science and society.

But the questions become even more important when we ask:

    • ❓ Why am I here?
    • 🙏 Is there a God?
    • ⚖️ What is right and wrong?
    • ⏳ What happens when I die?
    • ❤️ Can I be forgiven?
    • 🌅 Is there life beyond death?

📖 The Bible makes an extraordinary claim:

The God who created us has revealed truth to humanity.

    Scripture says:

📜 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” — 2 Timothy 3:16

But should we simply believe the Bible because it claims to be the Word of God?

🔍 That is where the investigation becomes particularly interesting.

In the next part of this discussion, we examine whether the Bible’s claims stand up to scrutiny, including:

    • 📜 Manuscript evidence
    • 🏺 Archaeology
    • 🔮 Fulfilled prophecy
    • 📚 Historical reliability
    • ✝️ The person of Jesus Christ
    • 🌅 His death and resurrection

Jesus made one of the greatest truth claims ever spoken:

✝️ “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” — John 14:6

If that claim is true, it changes everything.

🎙️ Join us as we search for something increasingly difficult to find in the modern world:

    Truth we can actually trust.
