Step forward and enter the multiverse in the Magic: The Gathering plane of Innistrad in this mythic gothic horror audio adventure governed by the rules of Dungeons & Dragons. Five unlikely survivors, a tiefling paladin, an elven rogue, a cursed wulven barbarian, a grim rural warden, and a secretive vampire cleric, have their lives irrevocably bound together when they stumble into a cross-planar wound.

Avacyn, the archangel of hope, has been violently unmade. Without her light, Innistrad's silver wards are failing, the dead are rising, and a metaphysical curse has detonated inside the planeswalker Garruk Wildspeaker.

When the party manages to break Garruk's chains and temporarily seal the demonic threat of Griselbrand, they aren't rewarded with peace. Instead, a blood-oath is called in, and they are violently dragged from their home plane into the terrifying, uncharted unknown of the multiverse.

It’s a desperate fight for survival where every victory carries a heavy cost, and older, darker powers are watching their every move. Prepare for a psychological, blood-soaked adventure of grief, ancient curses, and impossible choices.

The world is brutal. Help anyway.

In this episode of The Wounded Spark Saga, we descend into the lore of Innistrad and examine the fragile pillars supporting its delicate ecosystem: the undead, werewolves, demons, vampires, angels, and humanity itself.

To understand what comes next, we must first understand what keeps these powers in check, and what happens when one of those restraints is removed.

Each revelation explored here lays another piece of the foundation for the finale of our prologue and the cascading avalanche of choices that follows: decisions beginning as little more than the beat of a butterfly’s wings, only to ripple outward against the force of a coming tsunami.

Before the Bastion falls, we must understand the world it was built to protect.

The finale concludes with the party entering the chain curse veil with another unlikely ally. Prydoth. A vampire cleric working in secret with the Cathar Order under Adaline. The events that occur here will reshape the very foundation of Innistrad and force centuries of Cathar order to re-examine their own doctrine. A debt and promise are made.
