    20 Oct 2026

Mama, do you believe you need to hustle harder to get through the holidays? The world wants us to think we have to do more, say yes to every single invitation, and run ourselves into the ground to make the season magical. But that isn't true. God didn't call you to a life of exhaustion or being overwhelmed. He called you to be a good steward of the time he has given you, and that starts with giving yourself a little bit of grace and setting your boundaries early.

In this episode, we are dismantling the holiday hustle early and leaning into Luke 10:41-42 to discover the power of choosing what is truly necessary. I’m sharing the 5 simple, flexible time management blocks you need to anchor your days before November arrives. Best of all, because our kids are growing up, these routines are built to be collaborative family systems that give you your evening margins back, protect your work-life balance, and help you show up fully present without all the overwhelm.

We are going to dive into 5 routines that you need, and you can use all year. Plus, how, when things get crazy, we need to make sure we are spending time with God and not let that fall to the side.

  • 48. Stop Waiting for Life to Slow Down: 3 Healthy Routines Every Working Homeschool Mom Needs
    9 Oct 2026
When are you finally going to have time to take care of yourself? When the homeschool gets easier? When the kids need you less? When your business slows down or you hire someone? The truth is, life probably isn’t going to slow down. And if you keep waiting for the “perfect” time to take care of yourself, you may keep putting your own health and energy last. As a working homeschool mom, you’re juggling your kids, homeschool, your business, your home, and all the little things that seem to need your attention every day. But taking care of yourself doesn’t have to mean adding another complicated routine to your already-full schedule. In this episode, I’m talking with Courtney Greedy from Healthy Habits for Homeschool Moms about creating healthy routines that actually fit into real life. We’re talking about the small, intentional habits that can help you have more energy, take better care of yourself, and show up as the mom and business owner you want to be. We also talk about why waiting for life to slow down can keep you stuck, how rest can sometimes be the most productive thing you can do, and why your kids benefit from seeing you model healthy habits, too. You don’t need an hour at the gym or a completely different schedule. You can start right where you are with small routines that support the life you’re already living. In this episode, we talk about: Why waiting for life to slow down may be keeping you from taking care of yourselfThe connection between healthy habits, energy, and how you show up for your familyWhy sleep and rest need to be part of your routineSimple ways to make healthy eating work when you’re homeschooling and running a businessHow to fit movement into a busy day without needing a huge block of timeWhy consistency matters more than trying to be perfectHow your children learn healthy habits by watching youKnowing when your body needs rest instead of pushing throughHow simple routines can help you have more energy for your kids, business, and marriage A reminder for you, mama: Life isn’t going to slow down. You don’t have to wait for it to take care of yourself. You can start small. You can make room for healthy habits right in the middle of your real, messy, busy life. And sometimes, taking care of yourself looks less like doing more and more like knowing when it’s time to rest. Want to Talk About Your Own Routines? And if listening to this episode has you thinking, “Okay, but how do I actually make time for all of this when I’m homeschooling and trying to grow my business?” I’d love to chat with you. • 47. Is Your Morning Destroying Your Day? How to Fix Your Morning Routine as a Working Homeschool Mom
    6 Oct 2026

Does your morning feel like it's always falling apart?

As a working homeschool mom, your morning has a lot riding on it. You’re getting yourself ready, getting the kids moving, starting homeschool, managing your home, taking care of yourself, and trying to make time for work—all before the day has really begun.

But what if you don’t need a perfect morning routine? What if you simply need a routine that actually works for your family and the season you're in?

Today we are talking about morning routines. I’m walking you through my own morning routine and what I’ve learned about creating a morning that doesn’t leave me feeling behind. I am also going to help you identify the parts of your morning that are destroying your day.

We’ll talk about why predictable routines matter, how to give your kids more responsibility in the morning, and what you can do the night before to make mornings easier.

I am going to show you five steps you can take to build a morning routine around the life you’re actually living, not the life you think your morning is supposed to look like.

    Your Simplified Step This Week

Don’t try to completely overhaul your morning tomorrow.

Instead, figure out what the one thing is that consistently makes your morning harder. I am telling you in the episode what the one thing in my morning routine was that was derailing my day.

    Ask yourself:

What could I change, prepare, delegate, or eliminate to make this easier?

    Start there.

You don't need a perfect morning. You need a rhythm that helps you and your family.

A simplified morning isn't about fitting more into your morning. It's about removing the chaos so you have more time for what actually matters.

On Friday, October 23 at 2:00 pm EST, I am hosting a free 45-minute coffee chat for the working homeschool mom. I will be teaching you 3 simple routines to Balance Work and Homeschool Coffee Chat. If you are looking for work-life balance, this free coffee chat is for you. If you can't make it, sign up anyway and get the free live replay.
