  • What If “Your Will Be Done” Changed Everything
    26 Oct 2026

Prayer can be one of the most powerful forces in a marriage and one of the most awkward. We get it: you want to lead spiritually, you want to connect with God, but sometimes prayer feels like a script, a routine, or something reserved for “super spiritual” people who always know the right words. So we slow down and take Jesus at his word when he teaches the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, showing how prayer becomes a relationship, not a performance.

We start with the everyday rhythms that shape a home, like praying at meals and teaching kids simple gratitude, then we ask a bigger question: are we talking to God throughout the day, or only when life forces our hand? From Daniel’s steady prayer life to the hidden traps of routine, we explore why focus matters. When prayer becomes about how we sound or what we want, we drift. When prayer becomes about who God is, everything changes.

Then we break down the Lord’s Prayer phrase by phrase with marriage in view: “Our Father” puts husband and wife on their knees together, “hallowed be your name” challenges our self-focus, and “your kingdom come, your will be done” confronts control, fear, and the false masters we let lead our decisions. We also talk about daily bread as both God’s provision and our spiritual hunger for Scripture and Jesus, the Bread of Life. Finally, we land on confession, forgiveness, and asking God to protect us from temptation, ending where the prayer ends: God’s kingdom, power, and glory.

If you want a stronger Christian marriage, deeper spiritual intimacy, and a practical way to pray together without feeling strange, this message gives you a clear next step. Subscribe, share this with a couple who needs encouragement, and leave a review with the line of the Lord’s Prayer you want to live out this week.

  • God’s Word Shows What Really Blesses A Marriage
    19 Oct 2026

If you’ve ever gotten what you wanted and still felt restless, you’re not alone and you’re not crazy. We’ve all chased that next fix for happiness in marriage and family life, only to find it slips through our fingers like trying to nail down a cloud. That’s why we’re launching a new series called The Bible for Marriage, because our opinions cannot compete with the clarity and power of God’s Word.

We start by naming the real problem behind so many marriage struggles: worship. What has our attention, what are we trying to please, and where do we expect satisfaction to come from? With Ecclesiastes in view, we talk about the dead-end of “if only” thinking and the exhaustion of chasing the world’s version of a blessed life.

Then we open Matthew 5 and slow down in the Beatitudes. We explain what “blessed” means, why Jesus begins the Sermon on the Mount this way, and how these promises are anything but vague. We walk the Beatitudes as a refining process for the heart: being emptied through poverty of spirit, mourning, and meekness; being filled by hungering and thirsting for righteousness; then living it out through mercy, purity, peacemaking, and perseverance when righteousness is resisted. We bring it home to marriage with practical, Scripture-shaped questions that help you assess what you’re pursuing and how God is calling you to love your spouse.

Subscribe so you don’t miss the rest of The Bible for Marriage series, and if this encouraged you, share it with a friend and leave a review so more couples can find biblical help for their marriage.

  • Your Marriage Is The Weapon God Gave You
    12 Oct 2026

A CNN headline warns about a “marriage apocalypse,” but we’re not convinced the real crisis is happening where most people are looking. When we stare at culture shifts, new laws, and loud opinions, it’s easy to feel either angry or helpless. We go after a different question: what if the war on marriage is being won or lost in the daily choices happening inside our own homes?

We talk plainly about how Satan leverages distraction and compromise, how sin jackhammers a foundation over time, and why the battleground isn’t primarily the media or politics. We anchor that in Scripture, including Ephesians 6:12 and 2 Corinthians 10, to name the fight for what it is: spiritual warfare that targets your covenant, your unity, and your witness. Then we shift from diagnosis to preparation, walking through the armor of God as a practical way to become “battle ready” as a husband and wife.

From there, we turn to 1 Samuel 17 and the story of David and Goliath not as a kids’ tale, but as a blueprint for courage. Israel freezes, David steps forward, and God wins the victory. We connect that moment to marriage today: stop waiting for a new tactic, stop retreating in fear, and pick up what God has already placed in your hands. Our takeaway is simple but demanding: the “one stone” is loving each other the way Christ loves us, and from that love comes forgiveness, gentleness, joy, and faith that the world can’t ignore.

If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a couple who needs hope, and leave a review so more marriages can find these Christ-centered marriage resources.
