Will God forgive my sins if I can't forgive others? Does God expect or require me to recite all of my sins back to him every time I sin and ask for forgiveness over and over again? What if I forget one? Am I only forgiven of my sins up to the point of my last confession? Am I only forgiven of my sins until I sin again? Let's talk.

Let's talk about the script that's followed in most modern institutional church services. You can watch the video version of this episode HERE.

Thinking our performance adds anything to God's opinion of us is a lie that leads to despair. That was me!This video is a segment from a livestream I did on 7-12-26.

In most modern institutional churches, there is no opportunity for the body of Christ to function. We're not allowed to serve one another by using our spiritual gifts. Odds are, most of us don't even know what our spiritual gifts are because we've never been given the chance to discover and use them. Instead, we have to sit passive in the pew or chair while we watch what's going on up front and listen to one person's opinions of something in the Bible.

I was asked a good question recently on my video, "What's My Goal in Reading the Bible?" She said, "Honest question, explain Psalm 199:11 and how this fits into your point." I replied to that comment but here's my fuller explanation.
