This is the pilot episode of an idea Frost, Malc, and TE have been throwing around for some time. The idea is simple. 3 brothers, 3 different backgrounds, 1 topic. Hope you all enjoy it!

      Jul 27 2021

On the eleventh episode of The Talks With TE Podcast, TE & B. Jones are joined by storytelling genius, Brian Valmond. Brian, or @_ValTown_, as many folks may know him as, is an innovator in every sense of the word. He cracked the code on Twitter and turned single tweets into what has now become "threads". He's also a guy from Delaware by way of Far Rockaway, Queens, so we had to have our family member on. In this enlightening episode we talk about his parents’ West Indian background shaping his childhood (6:45), a major flashpoint in 2016 that changed Brian’s path (22:21), being uniquely qualified to tell BLACK stories (31:00), using social media to build a storytelling platform (48:19), building trust with infamous street figures (53:30), celebrity culture (1:07:16), Hip-Hop’s role in bettering and/or hurting the community (1:24:26), taking a hiatus after leaving Def Jam (1:35:02), having a belief in something higher (1:52:53), and his brotherhood with a young DE legend, Nah’shon “Bones” Hyland (1:56:37).

      Jul 9 2021

On the tenth episode of The Talks With TE Podcast, TE and B. Jones are joined by engineering wizard, Jeremy  Kollie. Jeremy, or Zumo as he's called, is a writer, artist, engineer, and overall creative. He has one of those infectious spirits that affects all who come in contact with him. He's truly bounced back from everything life has thrown at him to become a go-to engineer at Dr. Dre's Aftermath imprint. In this conversation we talked about his growing up in Providence, RI (5:28), going to the University of Rhode Island (30:50), NYC playing a major role in his growth (47:26), dealing with losing both his parents and closest cousin in under a 2-year span (55:01), moving to Cali to get closer to his dreams (1:06:45), maneuvering through Aftermath (1:32:42), working in an environment that's perceived as one big party (1:39:46), and advice for creators who may feel discouraged (2:02:11).
