On this podcast, we'll talk about weather through the eyes of a 23-year Air Force veteran, share stories of warriors who served our nation, honor the veterans I've met—and those I've had the privilege to lay to rest—and explore the mighty works of God's grace in my life and in the lives of others over the past 50 years.

Whether you're fascinated by storms, inspired by service, or encouraged by stories of faith and redemption, there's something here for you.

So, settle in, and let's get started. Welcome to the Squall Line Podcast.

    Dedication

This podcast honors the life of Danny Cook, a disciple of Jesus Christ and a patriot. He loved his wife, daughters, and grandkids, and his legacy of faith and service continues to light the way.

Each episode explores how God’s hands are always upon us, guiding us daily, and how to recognize His favor and grace as we serve Him. We talk about the importance of both water baptism and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and what it looks like to walk in the power of both. We remind each other that others are watching, so we share our light. And we stand on the promise that God will establish and bless the work of our hands.

Veteran spouses carry a strength few people ever see. They hold the home, the family, and the faith through deployments, transitions, and everything in between. This podcast celebrates them as the superwomen they are.

Whether you’re a military spouse, a veteran, or simply someone seeking encouragement in your faith, pull up a chair and join the conversation.

  • Joint Task Force - Bravo Palmerola Air Base in 1987

Honduras—and much of Central America—was in turmoil in 1987, and some might argue that conditions have not improved much since. I was sent to Palmerola Air Base to provide weather support for our missions in Honduras. The Iran-Contra affair was still unfolding, and Swan Island was reportedly being used as a transit point for CIA weapons shipments and humanitarian aid bound for Honduras. My time there offered a firsthand look at the harsh living conditions in the area known as “Little Vietnam” and at Palmerola long before it became an international airport. Spiritually, the experience confronted me with difficult lessons about submitting to authority and the belief that resisting it meant standing against God Almighty.
