Welcome to the Retrieval Podcast where we're retrieving the Church of the past for the Church of today.

Hosted by Andy Nichols, professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Ozark Christian College and Lincoln Seminary, and co-hosted and produced by Ben Jones, associate pastor at Gateway Christian Church, we explore the teachings of the ancient church, talking about how they can help us better love Jesus today.

Today we talk about worship - how did the early church engage in worship, specifically worship services, and what can we learn from them about how we worship today. We explore the Didache, Tertullian, Ephrem the Saint, and so much more.
