  • Jack Gladfelter, Corban University
    22 Oct 2026

Jack Gladfelter is tearing up the grass this cross country season for Corban University in Oregon.

Last fall, Jack finished 11th at the NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida. He holds the Corban Men’s Cross Country Record and, throughout his career, has received two USTFCCCA National Men’s Runner of the Week Honors, was named the CCC Men’s Runner of the Week, earned All-Conference honors and titles, and received All-American awards in cross country and track. He was named the CCC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Year.

This fall, he ran at a 4:42 pace to finish in 23:25 and broke the course record at the Linfield George Oja Invitational. This race performance is one of the fastest this season in the NAIA.

With bests of 3:53 in the 1500, 14:11 in the 5K, and 29:43 in the 10K, he’s also got a large distance skill range on the track, earning All-American status in the 5K and 10K last spring at outdoor nationals and second in the indoor national 5K in March.

Jack has a unique and positive perspective on just about everything, from his racing and training to his outlook on life in general. His faith is first and foremost in everything he does, and he’s focused on living life to the fullest and doing so with joy.

“But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ. More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ the righteousness from God based on faith.”
    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭

  • Caleb Greene, Milligan University
    21 Oct 2026

Caleb Greene, a graduate student from Milligan University (Tenn.), was the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, October 11.

Caleb competed in the Royals Cross Country Challenge and placed sixth among 247 runners across all divisions. His time was 24:33.3, a personal best; he has dropped nearly 2 minutes in his collegiate career. His time also helped Milligan take home the team title in the event. Caleb’s finish at that time was the fastest in the Appalachian Athletic Conference this fall by over seven seconds. He has been named the AAC’s Runner of the Week twice now this fall, and is an integral part of the team that is rapidly rising in the NAIA rankings, moving up four spots to #8 just last week.

We will hear about Caleb’s experience through his competition at two different universities, his goals and training, what health factors significantly contributed to his improvement, and what’s next for him after his collegiate running career comes to an end.
