  • Sean Quinn Answers the Questions People Keep Asking | The Quinn Files EP8
    23 Oct 2026

Sammy Heaney puts the most common questions from listeners and social media directly to Sean Quinn. Sean gives his side on why the Quinn Group couldn't keep meeting the CFD margin calls, whether he was misled over the Anglo shares, the share pledges signed over without the board's knowledge, and the 488.5 million placed in his family's names through a Cypriot company.

He also responds to claims about the 288 million taken out of Quinn Insurance, where the group's international assets went, whether any assets were hidden, and how he squares living in the family home with not being able to afford solicitors. Plus: why Quinn Insurance covered drivers and hauliers others wouldn't, whether there should be a public inquiry, and whether a new Quinn Insurance could ever work.

  • Illegal But Enforceable, with Solicitor Chris McGettigan | The Quinn Files EP7
    16 Oct 2026

Solicitor Chris McGettigan of PJ Flanagan & Co, Enniskillen, joins Sammy to look at the Quinn case from a legal perspective.

Chris focuses on Patricia Quinn's position: a guarantee for a loan of over 100 million that, he says, she never knowingly signed, sought three months after the money was lent, with no independent legal advice. He goes through the Supreme Court finding that the Anglo loans were illegal but still enforceable, the expert reports put before the court, and how the Quinns' treatment compares with the Maple Ten's.

The conversation also covers David Drumm's conviction, Judge Hardiman's criticism of leaks to the press, Alan Dukes' remarks in the RTÉ documentary, the Quinn Business Retention Company and its shareholding, the request for "retrospective" legal advice, and who Chris believes should be held accountable.
