Episode 10: Ep. 10 - Dr. Melinda Stoops on Life After the End of a Job
    21 Dec 2025

On this episode of 'The Positive Place' with an original air date of September 18, 2025, my on-air guest is Dr. Melinda Stoops. Her and I connected via LinkedIn, and I was so happy that we did!

After her job position was eliminated in January 2025, she wasn't sure where life would take her. She started a newsletter on LinkedIn and very quickly gained over a thousand subscribers! Now having authored a book, and the opportunity to meet new and wonderful people she wouldn't have without having been laid off, Melinda leans into this next chapter of her journey.

You can read and subscribe to her bi-weekly newsletter, 'The Reluctant Free Agent' here:

    Episode 9: Ep. 09 - Angel Numbers
    11 Dec 2025

On this episode of 'The Positive Place' with an original air date of April 17, 2025 we DIVE IN to the world of angel numbers.
    111..
    222..
    333..
    and so on.

Each repeating number has its own meaning; Has its own message from the Universe.
The biggest question to ask yourself is, "Do I speak the language of the Universe?"
She's always talking to us, so let's learn the language together.

We talk about numerology and the woman who catapulted angel numbers into today's culture, who then recanted on her YEARS of spirituality writing after becoming a devout Christian. There is A LOT to unpack there! So much so, there will eventually be a part #2 to this episode.

I'm Pam, this is 'The Positive Place' and whether you've been here a while or it's your first time, I am so glad you're here.

  • Episode 8: Ep. 08 - Finding Joy After Loss with My New Friend Nancy

Episode 8: Ep. 08 - Finding Joy After Loss with My New Friend Nancy
    22 Nov 2025
On this episode with an original air date of May 1, 2025 my on-air guest is Nancy Swanberg, a retired psychotherapist, animal lover, and believer in the power of positive thinking. "In the end, happiness is a choice," she told me. She talks about some incredible ways to cope with some big feelings, navigating life after loss, choosing happiness, and more! I enjoyed meeting and talking with Nancy so much in fact, our conversation continued even during music or ads playing on-air, so in a rare exclusive, this podcast contains our behind the scenes chats. Nancy is to-date the longest interview I've held, and even then, I feel like we could have continued on gabbing for hours. I hope you enjoy listening to Nancy as much as I did. And hey- She's also a published author! You can get a copy of her book "The Connection Formula" here. (This is also a shout out to thriftbooks.com. If you haven't heard of them yet, then 'you're welcome'!) Oh, and for more of your reading enjoyment, here is the article from happiness.com about the eight ways to choose happiness! It is a wonderful read. I'm Pam, this is 'The Positive Place' and whether you've been here a while or it's your first time, I am so glad you're here.
