The PERFECT Weekend: Eagles, Giants & Jets ALL WIN | Week 1 Reactions

What a way to start the 2026 NFL season. The Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants AND New York Jets all came away with Week 1 wins — and we’re breaking down everything we saw from a huge opening weekend for New York and Philadelphia football.

The Eagles opened their season with a 24-22 win over the Washington Commanders. We react to Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert and the Eagles offense, plus another strong performance from Vic Fangio’s defense. How impressive was Philadelphia’s Week 1 win, what concerns remain, and what should Eagles fans expect in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans?

Then it’s time for a reaction Sistad probably didn’t want to give: the Giants looked GOOD. The New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-20 on Sunday Night Football behind an outstanding performance from Jaxson Dart and a strong Giants rushing attack. Did we already see the John Harbaugh effect in New York? Are the Giants better than we expected? And if Sistad believes Dallas is the Eagles’ biggest NFC East competition, should the self-proclaimed #1 Giants hater actually be HAPPY the Cowboys lost?

Finally, the Jets dominated the Titans 23-10 in Tennessee. Geno Smith delivered an efficient performance, Breece Hall topped 100 rushing yards, and the Jets defense made life miserable for Cam Ward. We break down Aaron Glenn’s impressive start, the Jets’ offensive approach, their young defense and whether Jets fans should start believing — or wait until they face better competition.

Eagles 1-0. Giants 1-0. Jets 1-0.

Was this the PERFECT opening weekend for New York and Philadelphia football?
