What if the number that keeps following you isn’t predicting your future? For four years, the number 207 has followed me through my life. It began as my ex-husband’s phone prefix. After our divorce, I started catching it everywhere—on clocks, in random places, woven into ordinary moments. Then, less than six months after moving across the country and beginning an entirely new chapter, I discovered my new office number was—you guessed it—207.But recently, I realized something: maybe 207 was never about him.In numerology, 2 represents relationship. 0, the void. 7, the seeker and the journey inward. Together they reduce to 9: completion.Relationship → Void → Self-Knowledge → Completion.Well…fuck.In this episode of Synaptic Soul, we’re diving into why certain numbers, animals, songs, dates and symbols seem to follow us through our lives. We’ll explore the neuroscience of salience and pattern recognition, predictive processing, memory reconsolidation, Carl Jung’s theory of synchronicity, his fascinating relationship with quantum physicist Wolfgang Pauli, ancient divination practices, ancestral symbolism and why humans have always searched the external world for reflections of the internal one.And no, quantum physics does not prove your situationship is your twin flame. We need to stop involving innocent photons in our attachment issues.Because maybe science can explain how we notice the pattern without completely answering why the pattern becomes meaningful.Maybe signs aren’t always predictions.Maybe they’re mirrors. And maybe the symbol that keeps following you isn’t trying to tell you what happens next.Maybe it’s showing you how far you’ve already come.Synaptic Soul: Where science meets spirituality…and they totally make out.🪩 Let’s stay in superposition
