  • ACOMAF: Chapters 25-28 | Feyre and Rhys's Flirting Is Becoming a Public Safety Concern
    21 Oct 2026

Hey listeners~ This week we head to the Summer Court with Feyre, Rhys, and Amren, and oh the shenanigans that unfold.

Not only does Feyre get her first job as human emissary for the Night Court, but we also get to explore the powers that Feyre has inherited from the Summer Court and their lovely High Lord, Tarquin.

Tarquin might be easy to love (we’re convinced), but is Feyre ready to open her heart yet? Or is she just playing games? Rhys is wondering too. Is this book really worth all the trouble they’re getting into? Join us this week as we discuss the next installment in the ACOTAR series!

  • ACOMAF: Chapters 14-24 | All This For a Ring, Rhysand?
    14 Oct 2026

    Hey, listeners,

This week, Feyre is meeting the Inner Circle, discovering the wonders of Velaris, and slowly realizing that maybe...just maybe...Rhys is more than a smirking, sarcastic, ridiculously attractive menace. She's trying to find her footing in the Night Court, discovering what it means to actually have friends who have her back, and starting the healing process.

We're discussing the meeting with the Bone Carver, the mysteries surrounding the cauldron, Amren, and Jurian, and that infamous scene that spawned so many memes. Did he really just sit back and nap while Feyre was fighting for her life...all for a freaking ring, Rhysand? Hehe. Yup, yup he did.

But is Feyre being unfair to Rhys and the Night Court in her assumptions or is her trauma making it difficult to see the bigger picture? What's up with that creepy song the Weaver was singing and does it have Easter Eggs about Crescent City? And seriously, what is going on with the Bone Carver, and how many Maas Universe theories can we spiral into before someone takes away our tin foil hats?

Of course, we have thoughts...as always...but what about you? We want to hear from you. The comments section is open. Choose chaos, and join the discussion and let us know what you think. You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Youtube @themidnightreaderspodcast.

Audio Note: Unfortunately, due to a software error, the last 30 minutes of Brittany's original audio were lost, so we had to use a backup from the video recording on her phone. The audio quality takes a noticeable nosedive during that portion of the episode. We apologize for the less-than-magical listening experience, and thank you for bearing with us! Life always is such a bitch sometimes.

  • ACOMAF: Chapters 1-13 | Tamlin's How-To Guide To Losing the Love Of Your Life
    7 Oct 2026

Hey, readers.. This week is a rough one. Super emotional. Crying was involved. Be warned.

Trigger warnings for discussion of toxic and abusive relationships, suicide, and PTSD at the beginning of this episode, as well as some serious talks about encounters in our personal lives and how the themes in A Court of Mist and Fury can hit differently when you've experienced something similar yourself.

If that's not something you want to listen to, skip ahead to 11:30 to skip most of the personal story but still get some meaningful discussion, 15:15 for Christy's heroic and amazing ability to lighten the mood, and 17:01 for the start of the book discussion. This week we discuss Tamlin’s awful behavior as Feyre slowly becomes overwhelmed by his need for control. Poor Feyre is still suffering from her own actions Under the Mountain, struggling with nightmares, guilt, trauma, and a growing sense that the person she used to be is dead, and she just wants to escape…

But Tamlin’s got her on a tight leash. He is determined to "protect" her from everything, including making her own choices, using her powers, leaving the house, or apparently having an opinion that he doesn't like.

Feyre Curse-Breaker, savior of Prythian, is just a bride to the Spring Court’s High Lord now. A pretty trophy wife for Tamlin to enjoy for all he sacrificed. And absolutely under no circumstances is Tamlin's equal...Or is she?

Join us as we discuss Feyre’s escape from her toxic relationship and how we, as well as millions of others out there, can really relate to Feyre’s struggle for independence and the ways she begins making herself smaller to accommodate the people around her in a world of Tamlins and Lucians, whose frustrating attempts to stay neutral drive us insane.

Leave a comment if you’ve personally had a Tamlin in your life and want to share with the pod! And don't worry. There will be some laughter along the way. This is us after all. We can't stay serious for long. But this time, we're also talking about why these chapters can hit so hard, and why Feyre's journey toward reclaiming herself feels so damn important.

    And then...

    Velaris.

Definitely cuddle up because this one is going to hurt a little before it starts to feel like hope, and we want to hear your thoughts and your story, if you're comfortable sharing. The comments section is open. As always choose chaos, and join the discussion and let us know what you think. You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Youtube @themidnightreaderspodcast.
