  • Do you REALLY care what other people think of you?
    20 Oct 2026

So here we are, officially in our midlife chapter. And let me ask you something: do you really still care what other people think of you?

Because for years, a lot of us did. We worried about whether the house was clean enough when people dropped by. Whether we said the right thing at the school pickup line. Whether our boss thought we were committed enough, whether our mother-in-law approved, whether those jeans made us look a certain way. We said yes when we meant no. We stretched ourselves so thin you could practically see through us.

    And for what?

Here’s the truth nobody told us at 30: you can’t do it all. Not all at once, not perfectly, and definitely not while smiling the whole time. Can YOU do it all? Because we CAN’T. And honestly? We’ve stopped pretending.

Somewhere around this stage of life, something shifts. Maybe it’s the hot flashes burning off our patience. Maybe it’s watching our kids grow up, or our parents grow older, or realizing time isn’t the endless thing we thought it was. But we’ve hit a point where we have zero f*cks left to give, and it’s kind of amazing.

Now, that doesn’t mean we stopped caring. We care deeply, about our people, our health, our peace. We just stopped wasting energy on the stuff that never mattered. The judgment. The comparison. The guilt over the store-bought cupcakes.

So today we’re talking about letting go of other people’s opinions, giving ourselves a little grace, and figuring out what we actually want to spend our energy on in this next chapter.

Grab your coffee, or your wine, we don’t judge, and let’s get into it.

  • We are MORE connected than ever. So why do we feel so alone?
    6 Oct 2026

This week on The Midlife Social Club, we're joined by Dr. Kerzner for a conversation that's equal parts honest, funny, and deeply human.

We dig into mental health and why talking about it openly matters more than ever, especially in midlife. We get real about social media: how it shapes the way we see ourselves, how it can pull us apart, and how we can use it more intentionally. And because life is too short to take everything so seriously, we explore the power of comedy as a way to heal, cope, and connect.

At the heart of it all is kindness, and a reminder that what we need most is each other. Human connection isn't a luxury; it's what keeps us going.

Whether you're feeling a little disconnected, a little overwhelmed, or just need a good laugh, this one's for you.

Take a watch or listen, and we promise you'll walk away understanding why this episode, and Dr. Kerzner, are so special.

    Because it's not a crisis, it's a rewrite.

  • Making Room for What's Next, with Laura Hamburg
    29 Sep 2026

One of the things I love about midlife is realizing that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself or your surroundings! 🏡

In our latest episode of The Midlife Social Club Podcast, Cathy and I chat with the incredibly talented Laura Hamburg of Willow Street Interiors about how our homes can evolve right along with us.

From refreshing a space to creating something entirely new, we talk about how our surroundings can reflect who we are and where we are in life. Because sometimes, a little change at home can inspire a whole new chapter.
