The Manhattan Project is here to talk about the One Where Joey Dates Rachel, written by Sherry Bilsing and Ellen Kreamer. Directed by David Schimmer, who has the C-Plot in this story, and may I say, makes the most of his Ross Light subplot. Ross, or Dr. Geller, has a chance to add an advance class to his teaching bona fides. The only problem is that this class is "across town" which has Schwimmer directing some of his best physical shenanigans.

Mona pitches the idea of to Ross to have Christmas Cards made of them, where they could mail them out to FRIENDS and family. Ross believes this is a little too forward and fast, which causes a downward, comedic spiral of Dr. Geller just drowning in a puddle of awkwardness. Not to be outdone, the Rachel plot is all about her being in HEAT as a fourth month pregnant lady. Happy Holidays, Everyone!

The One w/ Monica's boots was a great showcase for Lisa Kudrow as she did her best Parker Lewis/Ferris Bueller/Zack Morris impression - hustling and scheming in order to get some Sting tickets. The Bings, Monica and Chandler, had some great honeymooner moments as Monica is trying to keep from Chandler that her big spender purchase on some boots were not for nothing. And some turn of the century, modern Norman Lear like writing/performances were giving by Matthew Leblanc, Jennifer Aniston and company as Joey is faced with accepting the decisions of his loved ones.

Phoebe accompanies Rachel on a dinner date with Mr. Green, where Rachel reveals the news that she is with child...and Ross is the Father. These events lead towards Ross coming clean to Mona that he will be a co-parent with Rachel, who is in his friend group. And Chandler discovers that Monica and the ladies had a bachelorette party where an Even the Skippers was present.

Chandler is shocked at first but could really care less. Monica is insistent that Chandler have a proper bachelor party with dancer, but Monica ends of giving Chandler more than she bargained for...
